The joy of singing in the beautiful Berkshires
We return to Tanglewood for this Memorial Day Weekend program. BCI’s Music Director Frank Nemhauser invites you to use your words to find your voice and enhance your skills of diction and healthy vocal technique. Explore creative pairs of works with the same text settings by Tallis, Haydn, Biebl, Lauridsen, Barber, Bloch, and Burleigh, among others. Our one act final concert on Sunday will be in Ozawa Hall, the architectural and acoustic jewel of The Berkshires.
In addition to serving as BCI’s beloved Music Director since 1992, Nemhauser is Associate Professor and Director of Vocal Studies at Mannes School of Music in New York. Frank will retire from BCI at the end of our 2024 season, so this is your final opportunity to sing under his esteemed direction.
We’ll rehearse at the beautiful Linde Center for Music and Learning on the Tanglewood campus in Lenox, MA. A catered lunch on campus is included with your tuition each day along with a Welcome Reception. Evenings will be on your own with optional organized opportunities to dine and socialize together and explore Berkshire County.
